Great benson tournament

Making the annual trip up to fish in the great benson tournament this weekend.planning on fishing st Catherine with bomo as the back up.  Anyone have any recent ice reports?

The forecast for this weekend isn't looking good. St. Catherine probably wont be accessible and Bomo may have ice up north but it'll prolly a few inches up top. Saturday supposed to be rainy, windy, and warm. Which is not even worth ice fishing in.

Tom's Bait was not selling tickets today, meeting tonite concerning cancellation of the tourney. Very warm weather, rain, and possible T-storm Saturday. Almost everyone has taken their shanties off Bomoseen. Not looking good at all, have to wait and see what the weather does, but, better safe than wet.....or worse.

Such a bummer. A group of us have been getting together to fish Bomo area for 15 years and we just decided to cancel this morning after seeing this. Hoping there's some safe ice somewhere in VT this weekend but it's looking awfully doubtful.

What about ticket refunds? I had heard they are still drawing for prizes & such. Any truth to this?
