Yeah; today looks like it for me-tomorrow should be the last good day most places northwest+northeast-unless we get some magical march freeze in the 20's everyday; but-probably ain't gonna happen.

was at tyler on the 18th ,  7-9 inches of ice plus slush
should be fine for one more day

Just keep in mind guys if it's rotten ice even 14" won't support you.  Spud everywhere!

too say the ice is safe is a foolish statement. by noon yesterday the spud was going through 8" there is no safe ice in CT. my season will end today at noon.

indeed, bet my favorite place will be good for a while. I believe there r some good ones still to be caught. perhaps u will join. Also been thinking of trying that laker game.

How late? Going to western VT in two weeks, forecast up there looks bad, too much snow on the ice and not enough cold temps in the next two weeks. North country might be getting kicked out in two weeks. Just hoping I can find a place to fish, it's my birthday weekend, either long rod or short, prefer the short.

I think you'd enjoy the laker game.  Also I'd be down to camp for some monsters...or maybe just borrow Jon's gps numbers again.
