How much ice at the state access ?
Has anyone had much luck on the perch there.
Would love to get a good meal of them.

Fished Van Eversest for the 1st time this year, 3 pm to 5:20 pm.  Cleaned 20 and threw back prob 20.  Biggest was prob 10".  28' was where I got 90% of them.  I'd/The Vex would say about 80% of them were active but they were pathetic in size.  About 8 fisherman in shallow and I was fishing the deepest.  Made it out to 32" FOW with no luck on perch there and didn't want to risk going out any deeper.  About 6-7" of ice in most spots with all the slop on top of it.  With next weeks temps, I'd say Monday/Tuesday you might be fine and then your risking it.....  7-8" and dink/short perch ain't worth it their...  Wear your life jacket if your going late week....

I fished there a week ago.  Slowest that I've ever seen it.
