My ice fishing buddy just got one of these. He'd never even had a flasher before. The unit has spectacular high definition color and its big 7 inch screen is real nice. The battery must last about 4 fishing trips as we were out for 6 1/2 hrs and it was hardly down. Discrimination between individual fish is really good. Made my ICE 55 look like a dinosaur. So much more capability then a flasher. I guess I see why they sell for $599.
