I was out today from sunrise till 2

13 Feet of water easy driving but fishing was slow
One keeper green and one sauger
Not much for marks

Easy driving  ??? I disagree on that. Rough as hell this year in the south west basin.
Yesterday, caught saugers in 14 fow, moved to 17 fow, got no marks, headed to the far north ridge where the water was clear and fished in 19 fow and got skunked there too. Fished from 7am to noon. Friends went to the east side for the late day bite and didn't fare well at all. Super slow for all of us.

Maybe for the first 1-1/2 miles, after that its pretty smooth sailing.  Not the easiest it's ever been but it's defiantly pretty easy going.

Drove from Matlock SE about 5 k last Wednesday. Most certainly the wettest and roughed ride I have ever experienced on the lake. I can only imagine how conditions are now with all this turned to rock... Fishing so so...15 fow slow, 17 feet lots of sniffers. Managed 10 walleye all 14-18 inch male fish. Live bait was the wild card.
