jigged tyler today with 2 friends
on the ice for 6 or so hours
7-9 inches of ice,   some slush
few hundred fish between the three of us

fishing was decent,   No really hot holes but  constant pick of  gills, perch , sunnies, etc
some pickerel and bass as well nothing of size
fish also seemed to be in shallow  and suspending off the bottom

it was absolutly beautiful,   no bibs the entire day, and no jacket for the majority of the day as well,
i thought there would be less ice   but seeing 8 inches of good ice, i might try getting back on monday

I'll go tomorrow afternoon in Goshen somewhere, probably west side. Not a hot spot by any means but I know the ice was safe friday. I'll have a homedepot bucket and green pants.

Stop by if you see me and have a beer.
