So psyched. Heading up the 22nd for our annual trip to the Islands. Can't wait. Keep checking the weather seems to change everyday. It is what it is. 5 days on the ice no matter what.  ;D ;D ;D

Around the Islands, most snow is melted down to 6-8 inches, many spots have 4+ inches of slush on the ice - rubber boot time.

Just returned from our 5 day excursion.  First few days was rough with 12-14" of snow on the ice.    Should be mostly gone real soon.  Fishing was good first few days and not good at all last few. Bright blue skies I'm convinced did not play in our favor.  Ice was mostly 10" and over. Send me a PM if you want to know where we went    Still had a great time up there.  Bruce still had the best bait in the immediate area.

My grandson and I were just at Holiday Harbor  and fished Sat, Sun and Mon, probably saw you as there were some 25 guys from Mass there.  Great time, Bruce and Joanne are the best, he had the Eskinmo shelter for us that wasn't really needed as the weather was nice but sitting in it jiggin, cooking and relaxing was the greatest.
