Anyone have an update for ice thickness and how much snow cover there is on Missisquoi Bay near swanton/highgate springs?

Over a foot. Full size trucks have been out on it since last weekend.

This is good news! This is normally my go to spot, but getting back to the bay I like to fish is too far to walk and I sold my wheeler last year:(

Let me try that again. Are people driving trucks from the bridge to the bay?

Not sure about that, under the center of the bridge was wet and seemed like it wasn't locked up

Yes..last sunday trucks were driving from the bridge to cambells..but not all the way around the mouth of the river. If you wanted to get into miss bay you would want to go out from shipyard in the springs.

My boys and I fished there this past weekend. Ice was maybe 18-20 inches where we were and by the end of Sunday there was quite a bit of water on top.
Our outfitter said that he was going to pull his shanties because of the coming warm weather, and put them back on when conditions improved.
Fishing was OK until an otter showed up. Never saw that before and we were a mile or so from the nearest land.
