How much snow is up that way. Im in south kingstown and most places are covered but hard to imagine they would be safe with the snow on top.

This was my post in Safe Ice in NW RI thread . Date was Friday night 02/10/17

Waterman is a mess.  open water and ice lots of slush ice. You can ice fish and duck hunt at the same time on Waterman. Washington is slush ice but looks tight. Spudded up Bowdish 3-4 inches of white ice soft right around the edges walking out. I weigh 160 so no creaking or groaning on me. Spud spud spud for safety. Tonight will help but careful this weekend.

Going to check a couple of ponds in NW RI after work. Would like to get out there this weekend. Will post my findings tomorrow.

I'll be up in that neck of the woods Sat. as well and report on Waterman, Washington and Bowdish. Thanks CBass.
FYI will be on Bowdish Full Time if all goes well after Feb 27th.

Sorry about the late reply but had issues logging back in. Anyway, fished Wilson's on Sat and Sunday...About 4" of ice, 2" white, 2" black....Lots of fish but nothing of size worthy of pics. Two day total of 18 pickerel / 4  bass. Felt so good to finally get out there. Sorry to say it may be the first and last for the season.
