Pleasant surprise today, took the bike ride with stroller attached, to Lone Tree, found bare ice holding at about 8" midway in the cove.

I hear ya.  I'll prob make a trip or two for lakers, but now my thoughts are turning to spring eyes.

Done with ice also.  Went out to some public waters Sunday with the fly rod and caught several crappie 8-11", bluegill 7-8.5", and a handful of small bass.

Well I would think that shouldn't be too hard.  Pretty new to ice fishing and been reading this forum for a bit but just recently finally made an account.

Nothing I would try and get on Ron.  Ice gear is all put away for me.  I might take the bike and long rods out and throw some cranks one of these mornings.

I'm going to hit some of the mountain lakes and then start getting the boat ready, just paid the boat registration on line.
