Anyone have some helpful hints for this bay. About to go out there for the first time this week. Want to make it a bit of a success.

Hey wondering if you did get any tips or get out on Shirleys?  I'm going to be going up there week after next with a group.

NO Tips yet.

Would be nice t know what bait to try. but i guess i will have to wing it. with a tip up minnow and ever jig,spoon, rattle crank i got. that is going to be one long long day

Best suggestion is timing. Make sure you're there an hour before and an hour after sunrise or sunset. I don't bother fishing there from 10-4. I use one set line with a small hook and minnow and a jigging line with a buckshot and a minnow head. February is usually a slower month, better fishing first ice, january and march.
