I got off the ice in RI at 11am last sunday.. In the morning it ranged from 2" - 3" at best.. The sun poked threw and it got. worse quick,.very crackly with every step. The holes i was jigging were pushing water like an over flowing sink. The expansion cracks that were solid just a couple hours before flexed a little more each time a walked by... But, the the morning produced a personel best, 34 fish. Amazingly 32 were from the same 10' hole. I jigged calicos, yellow perch, white perch, a larry, and sunfish... Just amazing.. The vex was almost solid red at times..I left them biting knowing my best day could quickly become my worst. This weather is crazy, you really have to check the ponds yourself or get a solid report . Alltitude, location, wind ect are all freeze factors...pictures to follow. FF
