Sportsmendirect has cheap great blanks. You can do whatever you want with them and they turn out fantastic. Mudhole for components. I like to use PAC Bay minima size 10-12 spinning guide as the "stripper guide" and sizes 5-5-4-3 single foot American tackle fly guides. I wrap a single foot guide as a tiptop because there are no tiptops that small. Mudhole has nice cork and eva straight grip ice rod handles that fit SD blanks perfectly. I use theflyshack for rubber winding checks, .20¢ a piece.

    Idahogator been out lately?
Out over a mile at Sunnyside on Friday.  5 dink perch returned to grow up, ha.   2 - 9"ers. Chatted with a fellow with 4 - 14"ers. One set-rod strike, maybe a nice trout.
Dawn 'til 1:30 PM.   9" of ice, 2" to 2 1/2" of slush capped with 4" to 6" of snow.
There are some trails well packed. Best have snowshoes for most of that vast area.    ;)2
Good luck.
