Tiger Musky season is open on Otisco Lake from the first Saturday in May through March 15th.

We may need some ice to fish for them.  Not sure if you could get a small boat into the lake now.

I caught one out of Moon Lake in Theresa. I know they are caught out of Payne Lake as well.
I thank God for everything in my life. But I especially thank God for ice.

I was basing what I said on a conversation i had with a dec employee after I saw a stocking sheet that listed them being restocked in there and was told it was wrong and not since the 60s have you actually see them or just heard of them being taken not questioning you just wondering thanks

Green the dec may have not stocked them recently but the onteora rod and gun club stocked them up until 03. I catch at least 1 a year ice fishing (often times more). The one weird thing is 2 years ago a buddy of mine caught a 13 in tiger Muskie but they can't reproduce so that one either never grew or idk.

Great info thanks I would guess they were stocked again if there are small ones with so many clubs and federations stocking you never know where a fish will show up

You can catch Tigers and Muskys at Greenwood Lake year round, 36" minimum length.
With the cold coming maybe Greenwood will freeze over in the next couple of weeks.
