The only thing I have left is to but lock latches on the doors (prevention from opening while moving) and to make a cover for the propane regulator.  I ordered additional snaps for the cover and my latches should be here from the A store on Thursday.

It will be sad to see this build come to and end! It's been a real pleasure to follow it along to completion!! Once the season starts, and you get it out on the ice and start fishing in it, take some pics and let us know how well you like it!! Thanks for the excellent shack porn!!!!

I'm officially done with this build.  Tomorrow I am going to take the final pictures.

That is truly sad news!!! I've so enjoyed following along as the build progressed! I look forward to the final pictures and wish you nothing but the best of luck fishing out of it this coming season!! It would be nice if you would post a couple of photos  during the season showing it in use!! You did an excellent job!!! Congratulations!!

Well it's officially in storage for the next month.   Pulled around three miles to its parking spot and no hitch ball rattle.  I put my vehicle fl28 on the new Marcus shuttle.  And currently building a new rod for the new freefall ghost.

Well I pulled the Shack out of Storage today.  Did a quick cleanup and waiting until the ice gets a little thicker.  Right now it is around 8 inches.

I will post pics on the ice and hopefully the first fish caught in the new shack.

I pulled it out on the 1st of January it was too cold to get pictures..   First off had a problem with the furnace.  the Honeywell Digital Thermostat was reading Lo and would not cycle the furnace on.  I shorted out the two wires to fire it up and once the interior got to 10 degrees then it would start to log the temperature.  I reconnected the wires and voila the thermostat started to work.  My solution was to by a Suburban brand (same as the furnace).  That works.  Second problem I had when lowering the cable clamp slipped and during the 30 below wind chill I was repairing the cable. Of course all I had was a crescent wrench.  After that the frame lowered down easily.  The Second day out I had my Champion generator sitting in the back of the pickup and after about three hours it just quit.  I go outside to give it a pull and the recoil is frozen.  Pulled it inside since everything is 12 volts and the furnace still worked I took the side cover off and it was completely packed in with snow.  This would have pissed me off since the Bison game was on but luckily I decided to go with the 12 Volt tv.  An Hour later the Genny started no problem and have had no problems since(expecially since I park the Pickup the facing into the wind now). Now I just need to do some more fishing hopefully the bite picks up soon.

Well good to hear! I'm glad you got the shack out, and sounds like you're getting the bugs worked out too.    The cold frigid temps will definitely help find out any issues, this way you can make improvements. OTG
