Being that for whatever reason it is, I can't get on the sister site MFF. Sent them My email and never got a response. But fellas, it's not over yet... I guarantee providing we don't get drenched in snow, we will have 3 or 4 good inches of new ice in protected first ice spots by the weekend of the 4th. Maybe a short time but don't put the short rods away just yet

My gear is still all out, im just waiting till were good again.  I think we will see another couple weeks at a min of fiahable ice.  Until then i may hit up a few tailwaters for eyes.

Good luck Tater. The crappie didn't seem to mind yesterday that there was no ice. Ended up with 16 between 9 and 13 inches.
