Can the 949i really fit 4 people?
« on: Jan 23, 2017, 08:36 AM »
I've never tried to have more than 2 people in mine, but have 3 friends going this weekend with me - I know Eskimo says it's a 4 person hub, but I can't figure out how 4 grown men can fish in the thing? PS I never was any good at Tetris.

Maybe like this would be best? X=people

It's doable but it's tight drill one hole in each corner then if your chairs are smaller you can all kind of sit in the middle and face out but I usually kind of set everyone closer to the walls.

I've fished 4 in my 949 but put a hole in each corner. That way we weren't as worried about falling in a hole or losing a cell phone, etc... The only down fall was we were all back to, but that didn't seem to matter. Still had room between holes for heater, etc...
I like to walk on water.

I have a 949i. I've fished with 3 people in it before very comfortably.  I think the above way would be the best setup.  Would leave plenty of room in the middle of the shack.
