Anyone ever caught a whitefish on Lake Winnipeg. I've heard that they are caught in the lake and do live there by commercial fisherman. Well I've been fishing lake for over a decade and I have never caught or heard of a local fisherman catching out lake whitefish and today we caught a 20 inch or through the ice on a jig in Reno. Anyone else ever caught one? I was blown away when my friend pulled it out of the hole in the ice lol
