I have a 170 portable . can I use it in a shanty that someone else is using the same type 160 - 170 sonar in without interference the shanty is 8x10 and we would be on opposite sides ?

Run one on 200khz and the other on 455khz, or try both on 455

I believe they operate on 200 & 83 kHz.
But if both ran on different freq's interference would be minimal.
