Yesterday, noticed that the "OK" button took a while to show up, but I just opened it now and it was fine. Maps were fine too for me all day.

weird, mine loads very slowly and the overlay map / bing sat image loads wicked slow. Depth contours are off too. I fished a lake yesterday with a max depth of 65 ft and it said it was 150. I know the app is not 100 exact but ive looked at this lake before on navionics and the map was accurate. I may un install and re boot it.

I had a similar issue with an app on my phone not working properly. Turns out there was an update which was stalled out for the app, and it was sucking all the power for the actual app. Rebooting resolved the issue.

No just rebooted, and then re down loaded the app update. It was for my weather app (wether underground), and I had a lot of fishing locations saved for weather checks, and didn't want to loose them all.

Make sure you clear your cache on your phone occasionally.

I wasn't using the satellite overlay, if that's going slow and your signal is good then your phone may be running out of space for cache, and it needs to delete old data before downloading the new data.
If the depth issue doesn't go away with redownloading the app and maps, try contacting Navionics about the discrepancy. I've contacted them with regards to mapping data in the past (big chunk of one lake went to white when I updated my maps) and they eventually fixed the issue.

That was part of the trial run, the free app doesnt give you contours only what they call Govt Charts, buy the app for 9.99 and all that will come back.

If you do a download map function the area that pops up in the box will be saved to your phone then you dont have to wait for the map to load via wi fi. You can also put it into airplane mode and use it like a handheld GPS to save battery.

To see what areas you have downloaded turn on NO OVERLAY and you will see yellow boxes that are loaded onto your phone.

Also if you are suspecting accuracy issues, turn on your Maps or Road Navigation feature and compare the accuracy of your location. I talked to a guy and he thought his Navionics app was bad, told him to turn on his road travel map and it showed him in the same spot as his Navionics App, about a 1/2 mile off he ws having a phone signal issue.

You can create a route, record your trail, create a marker/waypoint. There is lots stuff you can do with it. You can get a sonar module to turn your phone into a sonar
