Headed north this weekend to NH (in the lakes region) and was able to get out both Sat and Sun. Hit a spot Saturday afternoon we've seen a lot of ads for tournaments at. Weather and conditions were great, tons of people, machines and even cars out there. 2 flags 1 pick for us in 4 hours. Very slow for everyone around us too. Ice was 14-16 inches, no joke.
Still nice to be out even though it was slow.
A whole lot of this that day...
Sunday was a whole different story. Went to a spot we've done well at in the past. Blew through 2 dozen+ shiners in 2 1/2 hours. One nice bass, a lot of pics and perch. Lost count of fish, easily 20+. Even kept 6 perch for the first time, fried em up and they were delish.
So there is ice, looks like you just need to travel
