Pike spearing/tip ups in Whitefish area??

Hey friends,

So the wife and I are heading to Whitefish for this upcoming week. We are from Helena and ice fish around here quite a bit so we may have some local intel for around here if interested. We also spend a fair bit of time up N of gfalls and seeley. We were wondering if there is any pike area spearing areas up around Whitefish?

Best for you to check region 1 regs under exceptions to standard regs. Lakes where spearing is allowed are listed there alphabetically. I know Echo and Lower Stillwater for certain. There may be others. I haven't speared in years, but it's fun. Be sure to slide your ice block back into the hole or mark it well when you're done. Hazard for other folks......  god luck.
