Irish Hills ice?

Heading to Irish Hills in the am, just curious if the ice held up so I don't waste a trip?

Phil, they're out all over. I've been to 3 lakes since Wednesday and it's surprisingly great right now. Now.

Out on Allens lake, in Irish Hills. 6in of beautiful ice. Guys next to me pulled out a pike and a rainbow, I have a 8in perch on the ice, hopefully more to follow. Again, thanks for the replies fellas! Glad i came out.

How did you do on Allen? I had a few hits first thing, then it shut right down.
I ended up meeting up with my buddy over on Columbia, pretty slow there as well.

Be interesting to know how it had held up to the rain and how it does with the "heat" this weekend.

Keep us posted, I need to get out and Irish Hills is always a fav, but a bit of a haul to check ice myself.
