FISH GUTZ 2 the saga continues?

the last episode of fish gutz i was telling how i utilized my fish gutz and how the many different animals show up to eat the gutz. i had everything from crows to hawks one guy even had bald eagles,well the story continued i started putting eggs and gutz in my minnow traps and forgot 2 in my time spent icefishing. my wife yells the GARAGE STINKS? so a lil investigation led me to the culprit.so i immediately throw the offensive guts out in the grass and theses show up

Hey Mo, No fishing, no fish guts. But, we had a dead deer (small one) in our yard a couple weeks ago. I drug it out in the field behind the house and put a trail cam on it. While we see eagles, I didn't expect to get one on film.

Very cool pics.  I don't ever begrudge any animal its meal because that animal probably needs it far more than I do - unless I'm on the menu of course...  Boatman is right that eagles eat more than just guts and dead deer.  I remember seeing a recent story about a webcam that was set up in eagle's nest to allow people to watch the adult eagles rearing their chicks.  One day, one of the eagles returned to the nest with a housecat in tow and proceeded to tear it into small bits and feed it to the chicks.  The viewers were totally cool with the eagles eating fish but when fluffy was the featured special of the day, they were horrified.

butch I happened to catch that live. it was the nesting pair down here in Pittsburgh!! I cheered it on!  I hate cats around here. people get them keep them in the house till they have to clean the litter box one time, than its outside to walk on my cars eat my garbage and pee on my porch!!!  we have a lot of coyotes around here now 2 and I think they are getting a few.

Thanks for sharing the pictures of the eagles.  About four or five years ago I was ice fishing and saw a bald eagle kill a goose and eat it, it was amazing to watch.  I'm lucky that only one of my neighbors has a cat that roams around on her own but I keep wishing it would get lost and not come back.

sadly the gut pile is now gone  i wish there would be a few more like yours eddie s theses bush biting pests are terrorizing every thing like brush hogs lol hoping for the ice to firm up so the saga to continue?

  i know every one is struggling to get back on the ice look what showed up today to get a fish gutz hand out,sorry to say no gutz. hope to be back at it soon buttt temps are not cooperating like predicted its still above freezing here hope it changes
