Here is some video from New Years Day that I just got around to editing. First clip in a pike that took a tip-up bait and me setting the hook. There various clips of fish getting hooked, and baits getting taken and rejected. There is also a clip of what happens when you leave your jigging rod to deal with a flag. Yes, That's when all of the fish show up.

That water actually wasn't super clear. I should be able to get some better water on Lake Champlain. The video is also a little degraded from converting the format to something web friendly. I started using underwater cameras about 14 years ago and this HD camera is pretty amazing.

Just curious if you had other cameras in the past and how they recorded video in comparison in the same conditions/lakes etc. Once again that's some nice video.

Here is a video using an old model Marcum camera. Same location on the same lake about 8 years ago? Can you see a difference?  ;)

I use the Atomos Ninja Blade recorder. It records in both ProRes and DNxHD, but since I'm not a Apple guy, I convert it to MPEG4 to edit it on my PC. It's a bit overkill, but I also use it on DSL camera when I want to record large HD videos. I have seen videos of guys using recorders that are used on motorcycles. Basically, any recorder that has a HDMI input and it's own power source will work.

???  wonderful video.  I would never have thought of perch being that picky??   They also seem to prefer taking a shiner head first?
