This year we are having our 2nd Annual FFA ice fishing derby on Lake Carmi. It will be Hosted on Feb 4TH and the derby headquarters will be at the state park boat launch. Our rules are very simple and this year if you keep your fish alive for us, and we can see the fish getting released then, you will get a 10% weight bonus added to your fish. Last year it was a great time and a great turnout, fishing goes from 6AM - 2PM and prizes will be handed out at 230PM. Everyone who buys a ticket to our fishing derby is automatically entered in to a drawing to win a brand new 8 inch Eskimo propane Ice Auger that was donated by JRs Bait and Tackle. Each ticket is 20$ and prize winners must be at the award ceremony for 230PM. You can buy tickets now or that morning of the derby at the state park.
