she hit my gill rod yesterday. it was loaded with a #14 jig and a gulp minnow tail, on 2pound test.  tangled up to other rods close by and almost took one down the hole.  :o  24" long 18" around.  guessing 8-9pounds

Man....that's an impressive catch on so many levels. I learned to ice panfish on a schooley, when the big rainbows came in and grabbed those little jigs I was broke off 9 of 10 times. Granted I was like 8 and didn't know how to fight em proper on the setup. So to land that bass on it and 2lb line(applause)!
