Went and checked maxi this morning.... not lookin good. Anyone been out?

Eye of the walleye should be labeled  ...FAKE NEWS...Im out here now fishing. ...every bit of 5+ and clear....its like abishop reports. If you read them he is fishing the slough...95 street. By boat then from shore after giving a reort from bass lake then had to work that day so he couldn't go..

"Fake news" may be a little harsh how about not a thorough report.  I have also heard this debate on facebook and some say where they have went was not safe and others have said where they went they consider it ok.  Just my observation from checking multiple sourses.

Hard to believe maxi is shot with the ice i was on two days ago. Has some of it gone bad. Sure, probably. Spud ur way and change the kind of fish u want to chase. Big lakes thaw out later....

Drove by Maxi yesterday must of been 50 guys fishing the boat launch area.

To crowded so we went to Dixon.

I was one of them out there yesterday and I'm going back today. South side of long point out to about the eastern tip of it down to the kettle is still 5-6 inches. Some fish are being caught and as always use your spud and safety precautions yourself. No ice is safe ice I don't care by whose standards. I will see ya out there if you want to say hey.
