Thanks,  it was caught using  a jig head and shiner. Close to shore, about 15 feet of water on a still line.

I have caught a lot of Lakers and Splake,
 it gets my blood pumping when i see a video like yours!

Best is you got it on video !
I hooked a 14 lbs laker a couple years ago with my 9 year old daughter, handed her the rod and got most of it on video !!!
Memory that wont ever fade!
