Went out this weekand and got into the perch. Thanks for the Sunday invite to board member "gettin bit". These perch make for awesome tacos!

Fished about 30 yds from you guys. Went this morning and it sucked only marked one fish in 2.5 hours and my buddy was all over the place and marked zero by the time I left. I think the perch factory might have closed

I'm guessing 3-5K came out in the last week easy.

BTW, 2-3" of water was on top of the ice. Some tree areas were melting fairly large holes. use caution if you go there.

But seriously, 100 guys each keeping limits over the week will make a nice dent in the population.  But plenty of feesh left.  It's a big lake.  Just gotta find them.

It's was a good afternoon on the ice!  Always good to fish and meet new people! Some might say that you are doing something right when you bump into Slayer on the ice!

Well, they were't at one of the "other" coves on Sunday. Only got a couple, but man was it trout fest!!  30 ft of water, they were mainly cruising @ 24ft. Got 16 from 11:30 - 2:00. 2  hogs at 20in,  6 17in-19, lots of snot rockets @ 12 inches. Also, Did see a couple of 14in perch caught, they looked like footballs  !

It was like a fishing tourney there Sunday! Perfect weather. I should've called you Johnny. Could've guessed you were there too along with every single metro ice fisherman, woman, and child.

I landed around 15. No trout. No eyes. Saw several landed nearby me though

Bud you looking to test drive that Striker Floater suit out on death ice. I can see it now bud floating around A Town with a lit smoke.

went to look and the "W" was rolling, would have been two steps ahead and one back on the way out.  Called for a different day.  only water I want that suit to see is in the laundry.

the lake in question looked mad sketchy this morning so I went north to some small ponds and played babysitter to some dink panfish.    better than working i say.
