Wanahoo

Has anyone been to Wanahoo the past couple days? Not looking for spots just an ice report. Have fished it several times and live about 2 hours away; wondering before I make the drive, thanks in advance.

I have not been there this year but from all the other reports this week...sounds like ice is good maybe a few weak spots still in the trees. The water is very dirty and not good. fishing is very slow, but sounds like the water is slowly getting better.

Fished it this weekend.  Most areas have at least 9" of ice.  Farther south and the west end of the trees was open water up until Friday.  Those areas will have a less thinner ice, but not sure how much.  Water clarity is better but still poor.  Still could catch fish, but had a lot more lookers and a real light bite.
Never test the depth of the water with both feet.

Where is a good place to try and get some walleye on lake wanahoo. I have never fished it and was thinking about going this weekend.
