Snakebite bay
« on: Jan 03, 2017, 10:04 AM »
Looking for a place to set my shack on Diefenbaker. How is the accessibility to this bay? Any info on this area would be appreciated. This location is half way between work in Kindersley and my home west of Saskatoon so it seems like a convenient spot.

I never knew people ice fished down there. I was reading some previous posts about the ice fishing there last year and a guy had mentioned that there was a few spots that had those gas wells and his dog went for a swim as well as his side by side almost. Have you ice fished there before ?

I would say put your shack at the riverhurst ferry or fish farm, better access at the ferry

I have been down there, but Riverhurst ferry would give you much better access...

Went to the bite this afternoon, pretty slow only one trout till about dark/6:00, then the walleye and perch turned on! End the day with 5 walleye,1 perch and 1 trout
