I fished deeper this time (20fow instead of 16fow). Bite was sporadic with only a few flurries.......once before dawn and again around 9am. Did not hear as many screams of joy or agony around me like yesterday so I'd say it was a slow day fish wise there. There were twice the amount of trucks/people on the ice than the previous day. Landed a few small greens and a 17 inch green that had a HUGE gross growth/wart on it. Disappointing outing to say the least.
At one point mid-morning, I felt the ice shift and crack when some yahoos thought they were on LK WPG in mid season and formed a convoy of about 6 or 7 trucks following each other very closely as they headed south from EOM. They had EVERYONE's attention as many anglers came running out of their shelters  ::) :o to see what caused the ice to shift. It's only 15 inches and the MAX load is 10 tons minus 15% for river current. I was shaking my head  >:(
