place my shack on the lake today there was 9'' of ice on Jacobson Bay. Only checked the thickness in this location can't say for the rest of the lake.

How's the fishing if you do not mind me asking? It wasn't very good the last couple of years. Winter kill I heard.

Fished for a 1/2 hour and pulled 3 walleye but released all three as they needed some more time to grow.

wouldn't winter kill - too much moving water.
My drinking team has an ice fishing problem.

Not a complete winter kill in the traditional sense of the word but certainly some poor fishing the last couple winters.

And based on the stocking report, small walleyes makes sense. Thanks for the info.

Made it back to Anglen lake, zero action until 6:30 maybe 7 or 8 hits between 6:30 and 7 o'clock. only one walleye landed but could not ask for a better day on the lake.
