Had a black and red tear drop and a green tear drop on and they work about the same with wax worm.

Most lakes on the Valentine Refuge report 4 to 6 inches of new ice on the east ends. The back of Boardman Creek Near the Boardman Campground access was reported to have 4 to 6 inches there. Other areas of Merritt recently skinned over and are covered by 2 to 3 inches of snow/considered unsafe until posted otherwise. Going forward, the forecast looks good for a substantial ice cap to build, despite some snow. Reports of some good success, especially on bluegills, coming from both Merritt and the refuge.
