Ice thickness for spearing?
«

Just wondering on general thoughts on safe ice thickness for cutting a spear hole. I know no ice is safe ice but shouldn't the ice be fairly thick before cutting a big spear hole? Thanks for the input in advance!

Ive been on 4-5 inches of clear ice. Pay attention to sagging and your heater warming up the surface.
