I'd hope that's how it'd be if you stock it.  Venture to the dead Sea and fish the honey comb from 3 to dark. Tough bite. Tons of average gill and average dink 10" crappie.  Did manage a few measured 12 -13" and a 16" they all went back in the drink.
well there was nothing in it when the pit mine pulled out. Now we got crappies perck channel cats and big gills. Couple of us did a lot of work no help from fish commission

...you'd expect them to help ha. Ha.  We have a pond like that had nothing in it. Sticked it with gills, and them bass, and then crappy.  Now it's a fishing mecca.  Nice little place to take a youngster

Not what accuweather is showing, they're showing this Friday and Saturday in the teens then starting the last week of January they're showing that whole week getting cold. It's funny how different places have such different forecasts.. We will have to see, but if it does go into the teens those couple nights the weekend with no snow on it Sunday might be possible.

I'll either check it on Sunday or take a drive to Glendale, not sure yet. Have to see if anyone says anything between now and then.

There is 2 to 3 inches of ice out there do you need a five or 6 feet long board to get on it those places you can get on the church off the rocks without a board for the ice didn't look very good nobody was out anywhere

Was just about to share ice info and seen I was already beat to it.  I had my hopes up go this season, and it went straight down the drain.  Oh well,  I'll be out hunting with the smoke pole again saturday, and the headed to pyme''s flintlock 'refuge' hunt tuesday, and then hopefully this coming weekend on the ice but I'm doubtful.

Look at it as lifetime investment. It's not going to go bad.

Depends on the size of the bun.

Fished here today thru the ice...not much open water that I could see maybe at rez.  Ice was 3.5 to 4 clear ice in front of the church not far out.  Perch bite was fair.  Nothing too sizeable.

I would be very surprised if we aren't on the ice again this year.  It doesn't take much, I was on southern lakes with 4" last Monday and Tuesday after 3 or 4 days of low teens.  They were open water on Thursday and 4" by Monday.

I was at the church yesterday. Had 3-4 inches out from the boat launch clear down to the bent trees. There was a guy there catching some perch all in the same hole. I only caught gills with no size. Then went to Porters and checked. Not good. Someone drilled holes to check the ice, but when we broke the open, the ice was only about 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 inches.

Hey Hen I caught 2 perch out of another hole.  The rest came from that one hole though.  Couldn't get anything else to give me a look other than perch.  People have definitely been fishing out in front of the church all the way down into Shannon.

When is there an ice tourney up moraine?  I haven't fished there that much. Mostly keystone, twin lakes, and up in new York.
