Walked out on browns wendsday with a buddy and it had 3" 1/2 inches. We were only at 10ft but caught one. We were only out there for two hours! Good luck fishing and stay safe.

Was there last weekend. Fishing was pretty slow all morning until about 11 and then we started getting bites. Only last 45 minutes ish then it went cold again. Did manage to pull a couple rainbows out though.

I have never fished Browns, but did some reading on it and it sounds like there are hogs in there. What is the typical sized fish? I moved away from Montana after graduating from MSU in 2008. Just got a new job in Hamilton, starting the new job on the 3rd. Can't wait to be back home.

15 to MAYBE 18"
That lake could grow massive rainbows but its hard for them to get big when they are all bonked.
The spring time power bait crowd does nothing to help grow big fish.
Neither does the internet.

Yeah, this lake could use a slot.  Especially in the spring when people are catching the mature fish trying to spawn.  They are worthless for eating and with a small lake it does not take a lot of pressure to decimate the older age class fish.  This lake could turn out double digit trout on a regular basis if they survive long enough.
