Ice Conditions
« on: Dec 08, 2016, 10:55 AM »
This am it was 9 degrees on my truck therm. All the ponds were locked up, the sandpits starting to freeze on the edges. I imagine the coves are starting to see some skim ice if the wind is low. So lets here some conditions at places around the state.

Pretty similar conditions here in Topeka. It's looking promising for ice fishing maybe later this month. I have vacation I need to take by the first week of January. ;D Just ordered a clam plate from Cabelas, they are on sale and free shipping.

I drove by a lake in metro KC that was about half iced over.  It's pretty rare we get any fishable ice here though.
