i was there last week. north side of 34.  look for the display board sign, which is not an add for Plano but the kind like  for town announcements (was for prime rib when i went by). you will probably drive by like i did.

they had some 2 piece suits. iirc, $200 for the top and bottom. nothing i was interested in, but you might be.

they had BOXES of jiggler rods, the ones with the line through the blank design.

some of the stuff was NOT priced at what you might expect. some of the things appeared to be firsts, not seconds, and were full retail price.

some things like cartridge boxes were priced HIGHER than Cabelas as i remembered and double checked later.  the crappie slab checker was like $13/14 in the store. using my phone, its like $9 at Walmart.

just dont expect to go there and pay 10 cents on the dollar for stuff you want or need, it will be hit or miss.

Interesting! Thanks for the heads up! I'll have my phone out checking prices for sure. What does iirc mean for the suits?

The store is actually split into "retail" and "outlet" pricing but it can be hard to tell which is which at times.  They used to have everything at "retail" pricing in the center on shelves (and to some extent still is) but when they get alot of product in, things get mixed around.  The ice suits were $99 per piece (bibs $99, coat $99)  they had several sizes up to 3X.  Here are a few random pics of some ice fishing stuff I took for a buddy.  They had tons of other ice rod combos and a few shantys, mostly hubs, otherwise the rest was all non-ice fishing related stuff, but still at good prices if you need that stuff.

Stopped in there today, they have more out since my last visit in August. The side room now has a lot more ice fishing stuff in it. Main floor has (and has had) rod/reel combos out starting at $15. What did catch my eye was a 3 man Frabil pop up shanty’s for $125.

Thanks Illinoisicer. Any other decent deals other than the pop up shanty? Rods, spring bobbers, reels? I'll have to stop by there next weekend.

Nothing that caught my attention (and I’m pretty cheap). I pass through Plano pretty often, if I see anything I will post it up.

I doubt it, it’s a lot of scattered overstock/discontinued/blemished product that they probably don’t track.

No spring bobbers there as of week before last.  Lots of ice rod combos out that actually stayed out all summer long, tip ups, ice reels and other odds and ends.  Will be stopping by Wednesday I think, I'll try to make a better inventory note and post it later in the week.  BTW, since this orginal thread started a year or so ago, they have expanded their days open.  I think they are now open Tuesday through Saturday now.  I'll confirm that too.

Cabela's has an inline for $20 with the quick tip, should not last long due to the $80 original cost.

"Cabela's has an inline for $20 with the quick tip, should not last long due to the $80 original cost."  I totally agree Bill!

I did swing by the outlet last week and not much had changed.  They have several crates of ice rod combos out.  I didn't pay to particular attention to price, but the 30" quick tip with the 371 reel is $30.  Still plenty of those dogbone tip ups, 101 inline reels by themselves, other various ice accessories.  They did have the orange 10" thermal round tip ups for $9.99.  As for shanties, not alot of them out as compared to previous years.  There were a couple of one man models -Sentinel1000 ($250) and a few of the Citadel 3405 ($500)  I was also right on my recollection on store hours, they are now open Tuesday through Saturday, 9-5.
