He got that way from fishing long , I mean gawker pond.

Once I dumped a bucket of Seneca Lake perch on the ice there

Not so much to clarify concerns as it is to straighten out these armchair quarterbacks who think response time was slow, or that it was "embarrassing" for a VFD to have an air boat and nobody "trained", and for those that don't know the REAL story who might actually believe the third hand information or criticism the uninformed seem to be spewing.....

As you know, I play hard but heart attachs, surgeries and injuries have kept me off the hard water for a few years

Just watched the ice along the shore on Three Mile Point pull away and head for the open water out toward the cut, ala the same way it did when nimrod went for his ice ride....

But it "never" happens up here, right?

Still havent let that go? There are better things in life than holding onto someones mistake and then calling them a nimrod months later, for most people at least....

I cant wait.  I plan on hitting chaumont bay this winter and fishing for some of the big walleye while here but also some perch.  For the walleye what size jigging rap do you guys mostly use?  I have up to #7's and just bought some of the big slender spoons, just wondering if I need the #9's.  I mostly fish eyes on oneida and we mostly use #5's thank you for the help

Couldany you local guys who fich there often or know the area well. My buddies wanna take a weekend trip for some walleyes and chaumont bay is an option but i don't have any info on lodging and such. i know chaumont hardware is the place for bait and tackle...but any help with a cabin or something would be awesome. We have auger tip ups flashers pop up hubs and what we need for a weekend getaway after xmas so any help is appreciated..
