Qu'appelle Lakes 2016-2017

Any Ice on these lakes yet? haven't made it out yet to take a look.

Was by Mission on Saturday, wide open! Its usually the first to lock up. Last night might have froze it over, HOPEFULLY  :thumbsup:

As of yesterday afternoon, Round looked to be about 50-60% locked up and Crooked was wide open with near white caps.

Echo was nearly locked up today. Should be pretty much frozen over by tomorrow.

I heard 10" at the hatchery over the weekend. not sure how far out though, details were vague...

Was at the hatchery today 9.5 inches further out 8 inches slow fishing

10 inches of ice in about 20 feet of water  good ice but no bites  katepwa  main beacb area ;D

Agood day yesterday a katepwa  kept 7 nice perch and 1 eye ice agood12 inches lots of cracking going on

would anyone be willing to tell me how to access the lake at taylor beach on katepwa lake. I want  to put my shack there on sat and have only been there in my boat.

motocross127..There is no real good access to taylors point other than walking out that i am aware of,but be careful,the current crossing the sandbar there keeps the ice in front of taylors point thin and dangerous all winter

Theres a trail between the cabins on the eastside of the point that will get ya on

Fish Hatchery today. 12" of ice. Slow all day with nothing on the flasher until about 4. Caught a few nice perch and missed a few until we left a 5.

saturday we went to bee-say-tah and caught 2 perch in 4 hours, very slow. easy access, 13-14 inches of ice. drove on.

Fished lutherland yesterday for a few hours late morning. 16" of ice and only a few marks on the marcum. Moved over to the boat launch on the east side of Pasqua to close out the day,, 20" of ice and 1 small jack.

Fished mission yesterday afternoon. Caught 5 smaller walleyes in 30 ft of water. Tons of action on the flasher but they were really picky about biting.
