Such a beautiful day today to chase some flags...

4 inch ciscos worked the best... 15.75, 13, 8 were top 3 with 6 iced.
And a 1 min video to show that no matter what fish will always keep you guessing.  https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10158233975030501&id=624485500&fs=4

Had a great afternoon thursday at Glen Harbour.  Caught 9 walleye, 1 26 and the rest were in the 20 and a few small ones.  2 tulibees and 2 small pike.  Used a rose-gold slender spoon with a small minnow through the back for all of em.  in 32-34 ft deep.

Went back on friday and got 3 walleye, 2 small guys and 1 24, couple tulibees and pike, 1 nice perch.  Same area, just south 20-30 of the glen harbour beach point.

For those who don't have the navionics app on their phone, get it. its 21 bucks but you see the depths and structures and really helps you pick spots.

I also noticed the atmospheric pressure trend all week was trending down.  Went from 1020hpa to 990hpa.  When i was out on thursday it was super lower which i think helped activate the bite.  ITs back up to 1020ish.  If it drops tomorrow i'll be back out there at Glen harbour.

LEt me know if anyone of guys try it out! ITs a great spot - short drive from regina and really easy access onto the lake. just stay away from driving near the beach point (kinda like pelican-duh).

Just curious about this Navionics app. Anyone else use it? I'm not seeing one for $21. Any reviews? Thanks.

Hows the ice looking around the heave at Alice Beach? Still safe to drive out there? This warm weather is gonna make it treacherous.....
When I'm done drillin' - all that's left is an 8 inch wide, moist, dark hole that smells fishy......

Hi spoxick, congrats on that nice big pike. @)
It looks like someone or something gave it a poke in the side, bit of a bump on her.

Burrr, that first photos looks a bit chilly. :woot:

Not alot of snow left on LML, by the look of your photos.

As it would be my first trip to lml is there any access to collingwood from the west side of the lake?

You may be able to get on at sarnia and drive across. Not sure what the lake is like on that side or if there are any heaves

I have not fished LML this year....is there good access around Wee Too and Alice Beach area after the warm stretch? Or is it best to walk on? Hoping to try some fishing in that area if possible.
Thanks, any info is greatly appreciated! 😀
Cheers!

Drove by Rowan's to have a look on Sat after leaving Collingwood.  Quite a bit of water at the launch, but guys were driving out. Saw no issues.

Collingwood has been hit or miss for me this year. I've been there and hammered all day; and I've been there without so much as a nibble. As long as you have a couple cold ones you'll be good either way;) good luck!

Hey guys and gals. Just wondering how the access is at Sarnia?

The beach has some deep sand ruts but most 4x4 trucks will have no issue. Accessed collingwood from sarnia Monday.

fished Sarnia today and was pleasantly surprised to see the ice had fermed up considerably since Monday when the water was flying everywhere. No water at all today and lake was all good. Fishing was extremely slow as I managed one small walleye and lost a couple pike on the tip ups. This cooler weather will for sure put people's minds at ease and extend our fishing season. Good luck all and be safe out there!!!

We got 5 of them at Sarnia last weekend (over 8 hours of fishing). Missed a few too. 16 feet of water.

Tried the north end for three hours. Pike are still hungry.

My new underwater camera came in the mail today. Thankful I'll get to test it out before the season is over. Heading out Sunday. Hope the ice is thick and the fish are hungry!
