Frabill I Float Suit
« on: Nov 28, 2016, 02:47 PM »
Starting to get a lot of new items in the shop this year, so I wanted to check out the new Frabill I Float Suit.  I had to try one on.  If there was a pool nearby, I would jump in and see if I float.  It seems to be very functional and well thought out, as well as U.S.C.G. approved.  With last years sketchy ice I actually wore a life vest at the beginning of the season up north.  Also pictured is the Eskimo Redneck Bucket Chisel.

I own the Ice Armour Suit (Gray) and I wear a large. The one I tried on was a large and it fits fine. I'm 6 ft tall and thin.  It was very comfortable to wear around the office anyways.

Hi Wayne, what is the retail price on a suit like that?

The dark color would probably add some warmth on a sunny day just standing out on the ice. Kinda like a black portable shanty will absorb the sun's heat.

Frabill MSRP is $500.00 for top and bibs.  I got mine for around $250.00 and free S&H from Walmart.com Website.  I used the sizing chart at Frabill.com, however there was no "I-Float" sizing chart so I used the other charts.  I might have to buy a Very Good Base layer with the money I saved because this for sure is NOT as warm as my Cabelas GuideGear Top & Bottoms.

Blessings
