Looking for some good hardwater fishing lakes near Ionia.....of course when things freeze over.....lol

Plenty of lakes to choose from if you head north on 66 (Long, Woodard, Snow, Half Moon). If you head west, Morrison is another good option near the pumps or the damn.

I've did real well on Snow but you must know someone to get on. Some real nice crappies.

You out there by the grand river were they have steel head?  Near lansing ??  The steel head running all the way up to a damn there in Lansing  michigan a few buddies of mine fishe'd it .. I think it tough finding public waters with access so keep it in mind out by Ionia michigan.. heck have hard tIime round here finding public waters that hold fish!! Lols any how welcome to the ice shanty..

Near Ionia the pickings are slim. Morrison, Jordon and Sessions are close. Going north try Long, Grass, Crystal and Duck. Once you get north to Stanton or South to Hastings the selection is a lot better
