Good afternoon!

Some of you might already know, but I moved back to Boise over the summer. I'm looking forward to talking fishing with ya'll again this winter.

You just never know. With our format of filming, editing, and airing the show - all in the same week, a lot of things have to come together just right to make a trip this far west work. Weather being the biggest x-factor.

Well hey-ya fellers, I'm still out here in the frozen tundra, got to work out in the fields at -6 below the last few days, I miss the NW pretty bad.  Just thought I'd check in with the NW and saw that Andy went back so I had to give him some grief.

I won't be able to make it out there again this year for the Hardwater on Cascade, was hoping to, so I'm feeling a little bit Cascade sick, but Dave and I will be out there again in 2018 we're already planning it.

Frankly I'm ready to pull an Andy and move back there, it's that whole "wife" in school thing throwing a wrench in the cogs. 

I hope everyone stays safe this year, even with the cold temps lately we only have about 2" of ice on the home lake with 8" of new snow and guys are out there slaying bull gills, not this guy, I think I exceed the weight limit ;)

Wife, eh? Congrats! I believe she was GF status when you were still here, no? Let me know if you DO plan any trips here; Ricki and I would love to get out on the ice with ya.
