What a great program! Always like to see stuff like this for kids. Great way to get kids outdoors instead of playing video games.

Just got home from the kids ice fishing clinic.
Another great turn out, 78kids on the ice.
The day started out a little cold [-8], but the kids were real troopers and hung in there.
The big fish was a 13" bass, the most was 7 perch, and the smallest was 3.25"perch.
A BIG THANK YOU goes out to the volunteers. Mike, Justin, Jordan, Josh, Dave, and John, Great job.
I will send personal thank you's to all the great sponsors.
Thanks also to MTSFW for providing the chili, hot dogs , pop, hot coco chips and coffee,  great job
Thanks to all the parents for bringing the kido's out.

We want to thank you again Steve (my kids and I) for putting together another great Kid's Ice fishing Clinic.  And a really big THANK YOU to your volunteers and sponsors, all of whom put time and effort into putting something together that is educational, fun, and memorable for kids in today's fast paced "electronic age".
I'd much rather have my kids afflicted with a fishing addiction than "texting-thumbitis" or being "electronically comatose".
Thank you again for being an advocate for kids and the outdoors.
