Walked out to Mosquito Island and took a picture back to Camp Kilkare

Didn't get my feet wet either.

St Albans Bay, between Kilkare state park and Burton Island,  it's normally an island but with the low water in Lake Champlain, you can walk to it.    In mid-summer I could drive my boat where I walked today.

It's going to be weird year of ice fishing , with the lake being so low.

At least our baits will reach bottom quicker.  ;) Looking forward for some actual ice this year!
Perch bait- a small minnow that can have big results in the ice fishing game.  :icefish:
