Is sure hope so
I hope we get a week long cold snap early December to get a good start on ice for the whole season
And is this map comparative to last year or an "average" winter

Looks good.....Let's all hope it actually plays out that way. Like MF said, good ice before the snow would be a plus. I was actually hoping for a good cold snap right before Thanksgiving. Wishful thinking.............. .

Thats great news. The last few years in western Montana have not produced great ice fishing conditions. Hears to hoping for a year of great ice...
