I know that spot well, obviously that bird also knows there are some nice trout to be had. Doubt he stops at 5 fish  though.

 Looking better now.... even talking about a little snow west of me for Thursday...saw lows in the 30's down here ( eastern ma.) all week... that should help... It should be even colder to the north and  west where I fish all winter..

Taking the garden down this weekend...winterizing the sprinkler system after one last mow I'll be  swapping the lawn mower for the snow blower... that'll complete the "honey do" list... everything else is ready!

That is the only place I was physically capable of fishing last summer. I had to sit in a chair by the shore but I got my technique dialed in and these are som common, almost daily catches, during May and June.



Don't want to leave out the rainbows.

Although the "experts" had forecast another mild winter, I won't believe it until I see temps in the 40's and barren sledding hills!

All sources I see are saying cold and snowy winter for 2017. I often wonder if that is just the media hype to try and get us to spend money on oil, wood pellets, ski gear, snowmobiles, snow tires, etc...
